BREAKING NEWS: A second person has been arrested in relation to an attack outside a bar in Falcarragh which left a man with serious head injuries.
Gardai have arrested a second man after the attack at Falcarragh Main Street
The man was arrested in West Donegal this afternoon and is being held at Milford Garda station
Another man in his 20s was arrested earlier today in connection with the alleged assault and is being interviewed at Glenties Garda station.
Meanwhile the man attacked during the alleged incident is being treated for a serious head injury.
Patrick McLaughlin, 47, was allegedly attacked outside Flynn’s Bar on Main Street in Falcarragh during St Patrick’s night celebrations.
It is believed the victim received just one punch during the incident which happened just before 12.30am.
Gardai have been studying CCTV from the area as part of their investigation.
