DONEGAL’S Ladies secured first division football for next season with a 2-11 to 2-08 win over Meath in Dunganny.
The results means Meath look almost certain to drop out of the top flight.
A haul of 2-03 from Katie O’Brien was not enough for Meath as the brilliant Geraldine McLaughlin bagged 1-09 for Donegal.
Wing-back Deirdre Foley scored the other goal for Donegal in the three-point victory.
