The Club would like to congratulate Leon Kelly on his success with the County U-21 team on their emphatic 1-5 to 0-15 victory over Tyrone in the Ulster Quarter final last week. As a result the team will now face Derry on Wednesday 3rd April in the Semi Final of the Ulster Championship.Glenswilly GAA Club

The club are planning to organise a ‘cardiac risk assesment’, depending on people interested, aged between 14 and 35. The cost will be €45 if we get in excess of 35 people. This is a very worthwile investment considering the number of deaths caused by SADS in sport throughout Ireland in recent years. Anyone interested please contact Eddie Crawford on 086 8167305.

The first senior and reserve league games throw in this weekend with a double weekend for both teams. They travel to Buncrana on Good Friday with the seniors commencing at 5:15pm and the reserves at 6:45pm, while on Easter Sunday they travel to Ballybofey to take on MacCumhaills, this time with the reserves starting at 1:30pm and the seniors at 3:00pm.

Having lost out to Convoy in near Arctic conditions last friday night, the minors will be hoping to get back on track on Tuesdsay 2nd April with a win in the big local derby against Glenfin at home at 7:00pm.

Church services over the Easter period will take place in the GAA club hall from Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday. The gym will be closed during service times.

Last weeks club lotto numbers were 1,15,16,22. Match 3 winner was Raymond McDaid. This weeks winning numbers were 2,8,12,13. Match 3 winner Andy Moy. Next weeks sellers are Paddy McFadden and Caolan Kelly.

A 5k race in aid of Donegal GAA funds will be held on Saturday 6th April in Ballybofey. Sponsorship cards are available from the club if anyone is interested.

Any member suffering an injury as a result of club activities should contact the club secretary Sharon McGinty ASAP to comply with insurance claim regulations, if required.
