The Dubai Irish St.Patrick’s day Ball was held at the Atlantis resort on the Palm Jumeriah and was a great success with all involved enjoying a fantastic night’s entertainment, there also was a large Donegal connection in attendance at the glitzy event.

Over 600 people attended the event, with the vast majority of the crowd being of Irish descent. Most of the Irish at the Ball have arrived in Dubai over the past five years although some have been here for up to 40 years. (Pictured above is Paddy McKeever with  wife Sarah. Paddy is originally from Inishowen.)

Dubai Irish Society is the oldest expat society in the UAE and has been running for 39 years, since 1974.   (Pictured above is Helen Boland form Ballyshannon)

The night was generously sponsored by Bonnington Group (originating in Fanad), Emirates Airlines, Dubai Duty Free, Diageo and Pernod Ricard.
