Several people have been rushed to hospital following a two car head-on collision on the outskirts of Ramelton last night.
The crash happened around 8pm at Bridgend on the outskirts of Ramelton.
A number of ambulances, Gardai and two units of the fire service rushed to the scene of the smash.
It is understood that among those injured include a mother and three of her children.
The Milford/Ramelton Road was closed for a time as the emergency services dealt with the crash leading to tailbacks in both directions.
The injured were taken to Letterkenny General Hospital.
However, it is understood that their injuries are not life-threatening but include a number of fractures.
