Roisin CarlinROISIN Carlin’s TV stardom dream is over.

The Donegal girl was axed from RTE’s The Voice tonight.

She had been panned by the judges for her performance earlier in the show – getting just 17 from a possible 30 for her performance.

In an interview before the public got their say, the 20-year-old expressed the hope that people would save her.

But that didn’t happen as 22-year-old Dubliner Wayne Beatty won the judges and the public vote to continue in Jamelia’s team – and she then failed to land a lifeline.

However the Fahan girl was looking on the bright side of life this evening.

She said: I turned 4 chairs at my blind audition, I kicked ass in the battle, I made it to the final 16 out of about 4,500 people.

“I have loved every minute of this compeition, it has been such a life changing experience! to everyone who voted for me..thank you so much! I am blessed to have such great support and followers!

“To everyone who sponsored me and helped me with posters and signs thank you. I could honestly go on all night but I won’t. It’s going to be hard getting back into reality and routine but this aint the last you’ve seen of me.”
