It is an event only established some 2 years ago the thinking back then being a women’s only 5k running for a particular charity linked to and supported by Donegal Co Co and traditionally launched by the Lord Mayor incumbent who is of course on this occasion Frank Mc Brearty.
This year the charity is Breast Cancer Care ,the venue Finn Valley Centre Stranorlar, the start time 11am this Sunday. Some 300/ 400 are expected many having already pre registered at rundonegal@gmail.com alternatively enter on the day before 10-30 at the Athletic Club .
