DRUMKEEN UNITEDThe result of the Ulster Youth Cup played at Drumkeen on sat 13th April was Rosses Academy 3 V Drumkeen Utd 2

This was a very tight game in first 20 minutes Drumkeen had the best chances shooting over the bar and past the post from 6yd. On a break away Rosses were awarded a very doubtful penalty and P Green made no mistake . Rosses went two up when some very poor marking by Drumkeen allowed Boyle in to score. 2-0 after 40 minutes Rosses had a player was sent off possibly the wrong player was was dismissed .

Into the second half Drumkeen piled on the pressure and after 55 minutes Gerard Bonner shot to the top corner to bring Drumkeen back into the game, Drumkeen had lots of chance to score but had to wait until 65 minute when Lee Guthrie was brought down in the box Gavin Sweeney made no mistake from the spot .It looked like going to extra time but a bad defencive mistake by the home team

defender let Green through to score in the last minute. Rosses go through to the final.

Donegal News Ulster Senior League Cup

Drumkeen Utd 2 V Kildrum Tigers.0

This game was played at a very Windy & Wet St Patricks Park, on Sunday Kick off 2 o clock. Ref Vincent Mc Laughlin .

Drumkeen got of to early start when a corner kick by David Craig was miss judged the kildrum keeper, the ball falling to Eunan Kelly who made no mistake, both teams try to play football but it was almost impossible in the weather conditions.half time 1 -0 A Brendan Bonner free kick early in tsecond was easley delt with by the Kildrum keeper . drumkeen lost the serivious of influenchail midfielder Chris Kyle injured. 10 minutes into the second half a great ball into the box by Richard Moore found Jimmy Gallagher who scored Drumkeen second. Kildrum tryed hard to get back into but found the home well on top. a run by Eunan Kelly beating 3 defenders but his shot went narrowly wide .Drumkeen on winning by 2 goals to nil

 

U10 League played on Friday evening Drumkeen 0 Castlefin 4

u 14 had a free weekend .
