Parish Gaelic Football League: Buncrana GAA has launched the 2013 Parish Gaelic Football League for 3rd/4th class pupils, to commence on Friday 19th April with a ‘Get to know you/Sports Day’ at 3.30pm. Boys and Girls of all levels of ability are welcome . The league games will take place on Friday 19th April, Thursday 2nd May, Friday 10th May and the finals will be held on Friday 17th May. Féile 2013: Please note that there will be an important meeting for parents of U14 Boys and Girls on Tuesday 16th April at 8pm. It is very important that parents attend as all arrangement for the Féile will be discussed.
Senior and Reserve Football: Our Senior and Reserve sides faced 2012 Intermediate Champions Termon on Sunday in Termon. Final score Termon 0-7 Buncrana 0-2, Reserves: Termon 3-10 Buncrana 1-4. Training continues on Tuesday at 7;30pm and Friday at 8:00pm.
Girls Football: Girls football training is on Monday night at 7.00pm sharp. Open to all girls from the ages of 9 to 16 years of age. New players are also welcome. Please bring your own water bottle.
U5 and U6 Gaelic Games: Under 5s and 6s sessions continues on Saturday mornings at 11.15am sharp in Crana College. The sessions are based on GAA Fundamentals; a Croke Park initiative based on European wide research aimed at bettering your child’s coordination (including hand eye) balance, agility and basic fitness in a fun filled environment.
U8 Hurling: U8 Hurling will continue on Saturdays at 3:00pm in the Scarvey. Newcomers are always welcome to come along and learn the basic skills of Hurling in a fun, safe environment.
U8 Football: U8 Football will continue on Friday at 6.30pm, new members are always welcome.
U9 Football: U9 Football (for children born in 2004) is on every Thursday in Crana College from 7pm-8pm. New players are always welcome.
U12 Football: The training times are as follows: Tuesday 7.00-8.00pm and Friday 7.00-8.30pm. Mouthguards are now compulsory for all training as well as matches. Newcomers are always welcome to come along and learn the basic skills of Gaelic football in a fun, safe environment.
U14 Football: The U14 Footballers recorded a victory over Gweedore last Monday on a scoreline of 4-12 to 0-6.
Minor Football: The Minors recorded a victory over MacCumhaill’s last week, they will take on Letterkenny Gaels at the Scarvey on Tuesday 16th April at 7.00pm.
Lotto: The winning numbers in the lotto draw, which took place on Tuesday 9th April in O’Flaherty’s Bar on the Main Street, are as follows: 6-17-26-32
