MET EIREANN has issued a new weather alert overnight for Co Donegal.
The forecaster says constant winds of 90km/hr will be accompanied of wind gusts of up to 115 km/hr ‘and possibly stronger’.
The winds will be strong enough to cause damage and may affect power lines in some areas.
Met Eireann issued an Orange Alert until 9am tomorrow (Tuesday).

Wind Warning for Donegal and Mayo
Southwest winds of 70 to 75 km/h, will gust 100 to 115 km/hr over Donegal and Mayo tonight. Winds will be strongest in coastal areas.
