GAA NEWS: NAOMH ULTAN CLUB NOTES

Royal Flush Lotto – Royal Flush Draw results for the weekend of 14/04/2013 were 2, 10, 11 & 20. There was no winner of the jackpot of €1060. Consolation prizes went to Ultan McCallig, Brenter, The Boyle children, Seaview Lane & Locan McGinley. Next week’s jackpot now stands at €1100.NAOMH ULTAN

Defibrillator Training Course – The club are seeking to organize a defibrillator course in the near future, if any person is interested in taking part please contact the club secretary Stephanie Kyles on 0876307570. It is hugely important to have a large number of people in the locality trained to use this equipment therefore any considering to do the course please do not hesitate to do so.

 

Clothes Bank –

A reminder to all in the locality that the clothes bank in just outside the grounds on the clubhouse and can be used anytime. All money made goes back to the club so please try your best to support this worthwhile cause.

 

Club Donegal –

Club Donegal membership is now available for the oncoming year, contact Margaret McNicholas (0863774771) if interested.

 

Underage Football –

The club’s Under 8’s and under 10’s continues every Saturday morning from now on at 10am. All newcomers are more than welcome to attend.

 

Adult Football –

After many changes due to weather etc the senior and reserve training will now be on each Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30pm. If it is the case that the evening will be changed players will be notified. Both senior and reserve sides were in action over the weekend away to Na Rossa, with each of them recording a victory. The reserve fixture ended 2-9 to 2-5 with scores coming from Liam Kennedy 0-3, Adrian Nesbitt 1-0 (Pen), Donal Kelly 1-0, Martin Shovlin Jr. 0-2, Peter Alvey 0-2, Sean Furey & Kieran Battles 0-1 each. The senior game ended 1-7 to 1-6 with scores coming from Dermot Gallier 0-3, Aiden Duddy 1-0, Patrick White, Alan Lyons, Paul Burke & Colin McNicholas 0-1 each.
