GAA: ST EUNAN’S GAA CLUB NEWS – MALIN AND FOUR MASTERS FOR SENIORS IN LEAGUE

St Eunan's GAA logoThe Seniors travelled to The Bridge on Sunday and were well beaten by a strong St. Michael’s. They have a double header this weekend, first up is an away game to Malin on Friday night (7pm) followed by a home game on Sunday against Four Masters, throw in is at 3pm.

The Reserves notched another good win away to St. Michael’s on Sunday and they will take on Four Masters at home this Sunday, throw in at 1:30pm.

The Minor Boys scraped past MacCumhaills on Friday night by a single point, 1-12 to 3-05 after a couple of late goals for the visitors. They finish their Northern League series against Gaoth Dobhair in O’Donnell Park next Tuesday, April 23rd at 7pm with both teams already qualified for the Northern Final.

The Minor hurlers beat Strabane Shamrocks at home last Thursday in a very tight game with crucial scores from Jack Brennan and Sean Tourish coming late in the second half. The U14 hurlers lost away to the Gaels. The minor hurlers play at home this Thursday to Buncrana. The U16 and minor hurlers train at 5pm each Tuesday in O’Donnell Park with new hurlers always welcome.

 

The U14 Boys Div. 1 footballers travelled to Gaoth Dobhair on Sunday and recorded another good win, they have no game next week. The Div. 2 team had a narrow 1 point win over Fanad Gaels on Monday night, they are also free next week. The Div. 3 team were beaten away to Robert Emmett’s and are at home next Wednesday (24th) to Glenfin.

Well done to Niamh McMenamin and Haanah Carr who both won 3rd level Colleges medals in the last couple of weeks with Maynooth College (Giles Cup) and St. Pat’s (Donaghy Cup).

The Sunday Morning Academy is up and running again every Sunday from 11am – 12 noon.

The Friday Evening Hurling & Camogie Academy has also recommenced for 2013. New members from all over Letterkenny are welcome to join the academies.

Cúl Camps will take place in O’Donnell Park this year on July 22nd (football) and August 12th (Hurling).

There were 2 winners in this weeks Lotto Draw, they matched 3 numbers and win €50 each. The winning numbers were:1-12-20-22. This weeks winners are Barry Tinney, Solomon’s Hill and Pater Cunningham, Bohirl (both card)

We extend our sympathies this week to the Kerr and Blaney families and the McGlinchey family and also the Hay family.
