Three young Donegal entrepreneurs, their families and teachers got a chance to view an exclusive preview of the Junior Dragons’ Den TV shows in Dublin at the weekend.

Donegal Pens brothers Ronan and Conor Mc Garvey from Loughanure, and Letterkenny lad Niall Mc Closkey of Easy Grower were among the twenty young enterprises that made it into the Dragons’ Den.

Over 350 entries were received from all over the country but only twenty made it to the Den, two of the enterprises from Donegal.

The Bank of Ireland hosted red carpet premier screening was held in the plush Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin and three of the five dragons were in attendance – Ramona Nicholas, Sean O’Sullivan and veteran dragon Gavin Duffy.

The two junior shows were screened before the huge audience and later in the night presentations were made to all the young entrepreneurs who made it to Dragons’ Den.

The boys are remaining tight lipped about the outcome of their time in the Den but were all smiles with the rest of the junior entrepreneurs in Dublin at the weekend.

The Donegal Pens brothers and Niall from EasyGrower will feature in the second programme of the junior Dragons’ Den on RTE1 on Sunday, May 5th at 9.30pm.
