SENIOR FOOTBALLSean MacCumhaills

Sean Mac Cumhaills took on Termon in what many saw as a must win game for mac Cumhaills. The first half was a very even affair with both teams missing chances before settling into the game. There was nothing between the two teams at the interval.HT Sean Mac Cumhaills 0-05 (2f) Termon 0-05 (4f)

The second half saw Mac Cumhaills take the lead with a well taken point from Darren O Leary. Termon dug deep and scored three unanswered points to lead by two with 15 mins to go. Mac Cumhaills regrouped and two points from Darren O Leary and a Martin O Reilly free let Mac Cumhaills take the lead once again.

With 6 mins left on the clock, an impressive move the length of the pitch, let Michael Lynch slip his marker and slot the ball home for the games only goal. Termon never let up though, scoring two points in the dying mins to make an exciting end to the game. Mac Cumhaills held on to register their first win of the season.

SENIOR HURLING.
