GardaFIRE crews, ambulance personnel and Gardai are at the scene of an horrific car smash which has left a motorist trapped.

Three cars were involved in the smash on the Fintown Road, Ballybofey, at breakfast time.

Two children and two adults were hurt in the incident.

Gardai say the road has now reopened.

Four ambulance crews were at the scene.

“It looks an horrific incident,” said one eye-witness.
