FARMER DIES AFTER BEING ATTACKED BY BULL

dd newsA 71-year-old farmer has died in an accident near Killea.

The man was hit by a bull whilst out checking on his animals earlier today.

The incident happened on a cross-Border farm – with the farmer being attacked just inside County Derry.

The North’s Health and Safety Executive has launched an investigation.

The dead man is well-known in farming circles in both Donegal and Derry.

Family members have been to the scene where the accident happened.
