CHINESE MEN APPEAR IN COURT CHARGED WITH INISHOWEN DRUGS FIND

Two Chinese nationals have pleaded guilty to cultivating cannabis in Inishowen last year.

The alleged  warehouse outside Malin Town where drugs were discovered.

The charges relate to the alleged discovery of a major cannabis-growing operation in a warehouse on the outskirts of Malin Town.

Gou Quing Zhou and Zhen Hua Zhoy both pleaded guilty to cultivating cannabis at Drumaville, Malin on Oct 10, 2012 when they appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court yesterday.

Both were remanded in custody to appear at the next sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court in July for sentencing.

A third man man, Zi Yu Ye, pleaded not guilty to the same charge.

Judge John O’Hagan remanded him in custody to the July sitting to face trail.
