THE Ballybofey, Stranorlar and District Historical Society would like to invite you to journey into the past at a photographic exhibition which will take place this Saturday, May 11, from 10 am to 6 pm in the central atrium of the new Butt Hall (of which the Balor Arts Centre is part).

This exhibition will include a number of rare, and never seen in public before, old photographs.

The society, which was formed a year ago, will also launch a new ‘history trail’ brochure detailing a brief history of the Twin Towns at the event.

Admission is €3 for adults and €1 for children/students and this payment also enters you into a draw for some donated spot prizes.

Everyone is welcome.

The society is also planning a number of summer field trips, the first trip will be to the caves at Gortletterlagh and the date has yet to be confirmed.

The next meeting of the society will take place at the end of the month in the Henderson Hall, Stranorlar. The date and time will be confirmed shortly.

New members are always welcome, for more information please come along to the next meeting or contact the Society Chairperson, Aubrey Oliver.
