bus eireannBus Éireann services will operate on Tuesday and Wednesday after management and unions agreed to “pull back” for 48 hours in a bid to resolve the bus strike.

Services have been paralysed due to a strike by members of the National Bus and Rail Union in response to cost reduction measures introduced without agreement on Sunday.

The strike was called off after a meeting with the Labour Relations Commission.

The NBRU said it would suspend its strike for two days, during which management would not implement the disputed cost reductions.

They’ve given themselves 48 hours to reach a deal.
