Letterkenny AC kicks off its big weekend with a five mile road race tonight.
The out-and-back course starts at the roundabout at O’Donnell Park and finishes at the back of the Aura Leisure Centre.
The race, which is part of the Donegal grand prix series, has a 7.30 pm start, with registrations being taken from 6.30 pm.
The official opening of the Danny McDaid Athletics Track takes place tomorrow evening, with the club’s 40th anniversary dinner taking place in the Station House Hotel at 9 pm. MC for the evening will be Charlie Collins of Highland Radio. A number of tickets are still available for the function.
