The reserves’ winning run ended this week with defeat to Fanad Gaels. The match was switched to Fand on Saturday evening, but the reserves were at the wrong end of a 0-11 to 1-4 scoreline. The next game is against Red Hughs away next Saturday.

The club’s Run for Funds 2013 takes place on Friday 31st May and Saturday 1st June at Kernans Eurospar and Pairc Colmcille. U8s, u10s and u12s will run laps of the track at Pairc Colmcille; the remaining teams, including seniors and reserves, will run on the treadmill at Kernans. Children who collect €30 or more will be entered into a spot prize draw. Please support this vital club fundraiser.

Naomh Colmcille are entering a team for the national u14 Feile competition being held in Derry from 28-30 June 2013. A quiz night is being organised for Thursday June 6th, with proceeds being used for training / playing gear for the Feile team clubhouse (note the date has been changed from the initial plan of Friday 7th). We look forward to seeing as much support as possible for the event – it is, after all, exclusively for the Feile team. We would also welcome parents getting involved in other fundraising activities to minimise the individual cost of the gear we hope to get for the boys. Other clubs have had multiple fundraising events for their Feile teams, so any fundraising now will reduce the cost to everyone.

The Naomh Colmcille Cul Camp is due to take place on 8-12 July.
