Eurovision star Ryan Dolan has revealed how Graham Norton made him feel better by coming to see him after Saturday night’s show.ryan dolan

The BBC chat-show host actually tipped Ryan to win the show after watching his performance on Saturday night.

The Cork-born star sought out the Irish delegation after Ryan came last in Malmo, Sweden.

Ryan, 27, who has lots of relations across Donegal, revealed “It was really nice of Graham to come in and say hello. He went out of his way to find us and come into our dressing room.

“He came in and he was shocked and disappointed that we came last. He couldn’t believe it because he actually thought we had a very good chance of winning it.

“It was really nice of him and it meant a lot to me personally because we were feeling a little low,” said Ryan.

Ryan, from Strabane, Co Tyrone, said he was disappointed by coming last but it will not stop him from making a career in showbusiness.

“I honestly don’t think we deserved to come last because we gave it our all and we received such a great reaction.

“It’s not going to stop me making a career out of music. The Eurovision has given me a great platform and I intend to make the most of it,” he said.

Meanwhile Paddy Power has said it does not accept Ryan deserved to come last on the Eurovision.

The betting chain has agreed to refund all bets on the Irish singer.
