Jason Black 6CROWDS have welcomed Jason Black home to Letterkenny this evening after his climb to the top of the world – and doesn’t he look good!

The first Donegal man to the top of Everest was greeted by Mayor – and brother-in-law – Dessie Larkin.

And there was music too from the town band.

“It’s great to be home among family and friends,” said Jason, the owner of Voodoo nightclub.

And he quotes George Moore who said: “A man travels the world over in search of what he needs, and returns home to find it.”

Champagne is now off ice as family and friends celebrate into the evening.

Mayor Larkin said Jason had “done his town and his county proud” by climbing to the top of Everest eight days ago.
