In deceptively difficult conditions last Sunday at Otway, the qualifier for participants in the annual Fanad band competition in Portsalon Golf Club was held.
The four to represent Otway are Arthur Morrison, Paul Murray, Paddy Lynch, and just about scraping through to join them is Martin O’Reilly.
This coming Sunday, June 2nd, it’s time for Otway’s minor league team to kick off their season against old adversaries Letterkenny.
The first leg of what is usually a closely contested battle, takes place at home for Otway, so supporters would be welcome to cheer on the home crowd coming down to the wire.
The following Saturday at Otway, club captain Patrick Kelly hosts his Captain’s Prize, more details in next weeks edition.
