The seniors needed to win to take the tie to a third match. The visitors ended up winning on a scoreline of Naomh Colmcille 1-9 1-12 Fanad Gaels to progress. Match report and pictures on the club website.
The reserves needed to avoid defeat to progress without requiring a third match. However Fanad Gaels were on top from the start and had built up a lead of 0-3 to 1-11 at half time, before eventually winning on a scoreline of 0-6 to 2-16. The teams need to meet for a third time to decide the tie.
Well done to the u10s who hosted their Northern board blitz on Saturday; Convoy and Letterkenny Gaels were the visitors to a sun-drenched Pairc Colmcille. Thanks to Leo and Michael for refereeing the matches, and to the parents for providing and serving the refreshments afterwards.
The u12s visited St. Eunans B on Monday evening. The green team were narrowly beaten in their match, while the yellow team also suffered defeat. The next match for both teams is at MacCumhaills on Monday (10th) at 7:00 pm.
The next committee meeting is on Monday (10th) at 8:00 pm.

A quiz night for the Feile team was held at the clubhouse on Thursday. Well done to the P.S.S.D. team of Peter Barr, Seamas Harkin, Shay Harkin and Dennis Kennedy who emerged victorious after a second tie-breaker round to defeat the Deadly Duffys team. Thanks to everyone who came down to support this fundraiser for the 2013 u14 Feile team.
The Naomh Colmcille Cul Camp is due to take place on 8-12 July.

Training and Match Schedule
The use of mouthguards for all underage players will be compulsory from this year onwards, and for all ages (including seniors) from next year. More details available at http://www.gaa.ie/mouthguards/; and on the club website.

Subscription of €2 per player (up to and including minors) per week for training. Please make sure you bring your full kit (shorts, track bottoms, boots, sports top/hoodie/coat, drink). Remember a mouth guard is needed for training sessions as well as matches.

Naomh Colmcille Weekly Lotto
Last week’s numbers were 8, 10, 14, 18, 22. Monica, Tony Hegarty and David O’Brien matched three numbers and won €25 each. This week’s numbers were 2, 4, 10, 12, 20. Monica McDaid (twice – €50 won) and Bernie McDaid (€25 won) were the winners, matching three numbers. The Club would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support of the Lotto as it gives the club the essential means of continuing to give our local kids and adults the chance to avail of a great and healthy pastime.
