WE’VE all seen the signs popping up across County Donegal in recent months.

Now a Government minister will be in the county later this week to unveil almost 200kms of cycling routes – after an investment of close to half a million euro.

Minister for State Alan Kelly will be in Letterkenny Public Services Centre on Wednesday to make the formal announcement.

The Cycleways Project, funded by the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport to the value of €497,000 is a 195.5km on road cycling route.

This route starts in Donegal Town and links Mount Charles, Inver, Ardara, Leitirmacaward, Dungloe, Burtonport, Crolly, Dunlewey, Gortahork, Dunfanaghy, Creeslough, Glen, Milford, Ramelton, Letterkenny, Manorcunningham and finishes in Newtoncunningham.
