WOMAN INJURED IN N56 ROAD CRASH

GARDA OFFICERTHE N56 between Termon and Kilmacrennan has re-opened after a road traffic crash earlier in which a woman was hurt.

The female motorist was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital after the incident in which her car left the road.

Roads in the area were wet at the time following heavy overnight rain.

The motorist is not believed to be seriously injured.

Gardai say the crash happened shortly after 8am.
