Donegal Children’s String Orchestra was one of the many events that helped celebrate Féile na Seanbheairice in Falcarragh at the weekend.
Conducted by Spanish cellist Víctor Yélamo, the orchestra received an enthusiastic reception at An Café Clasaiceach.
The orchestra will be accepting new members in September and is suitable for 7-13 year olds.
It is open to all violin, viola, cello and double bass players with a minimum of one year’s playing experience and basic sight-reading skills.
It meets weekly during term time in the Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny on Saturdays.
