Mevagh Resource Centre notes
Tiny Tunes – fun, music & movement for little movers & shakers of 3 months to 5 years. Classes will be held in the Resource Centre on Tuesday 9th July, Monday 15th July, Tuesday 23rd July & Tuesday 30th July. August classes will be held on Tuesday 13th & Tuesday 20th. Craft Group – will meet as usual on Thursday morning from 10:30 am until 12:00 noon. New members always welcome.
Slim R Us – will hold their fortnightly meeting in Mevagh Resource Centre on Thursday 11th July from 6 – 7pm.
Mevagh Busy Bees – Parent, baby and toddler group meet every Friday from 10:00am until 12:00 noon in the Resource centre. Cost: €3 per family.
Traditional Music Group – next meeting is on Friday 12th July at 8pm. All welcome.
Jogging Group – The jogging group will continue throughout the month of July at Glenree United Football Club. For further details, please contact Patrick on 086-3157943.
Kids Camp – It is hoped to run camps on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th July. Activities will include Zumba, Arts & Crafts and a Beach Scavenging Hunt. Participants must be least 5 years old and attending National School. Please ensure your child has a packed lunch and suitable clothing for the outdoor activity on Thursday 18th July. Cost is €10 per child. Registration and payment must be made in advance. Please contact centre book your child’s place, first come – first served!
Bric a Brac – a stall of new or nearly new items has been set up in the Mevagh Family Resource Centre. Why not call in, have a look and perhaps pick up a bargain or two!! Donations of Bric a Brac also welcome.
Féile Carraig Arts & Culture invites you to their Oíche Airneál, an evening of traditional music, dancing and craic, in Teach John Mici Ban (aka Hugo Boyles), across from the Carrigart Petrol Station, at 8pm on Friday the 12th of July. This is a family friendly event and any musicians, dancers or singers are welcome to join in and perform. All donations from this event are in aid of Féile Carraig Arts & Culture 2013.
