STATE PATHOLOGIST ON WAY TO CHURCHILL TO EXAMINE BODY

The state pathologist will arrive in Churchill today to examine the body of a 51 year old man.GARDA OFFICER

Gardai say they are currently treating the death as suspicious.

The man was found with an injury to his head.

A full examination of the scene will be carried out and has currently been preserved.

State pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy will arrive in the county at 3pm and begin her examination.

A Garda spokesman said they will be in a better position to comment on the discovery after the pathologist has carried out her examination.
