Plunkett Sail Ship 049(1) Hundreds of visitors are turning up in Killybegs following the arrival of The Barquentine Thalassa.

The boat is an imposing and seaworthy sailer – a three master is one of the most beautiful and fastest sea sailers of the Dutch fleet.

The boat is an unusual visitor to the area which is more used to fishing trawlers and the occasional cruise liner.

Rigged according to old tradition, the Thalassa is fitted with every modern safety conveniences and combines adventurous sailing and comfortable enjoyment perfectly.

The good atmosphere, the tasteful ambience of the saloon, and the comfortable cabins with showers see to it that the guests on board feel immediately at home.
