Have you seen Barry? His family want to hear from him.

THE family of missing Carndonagh man Barry Doherty have issued a new poster in their bid to find him as Scottish police probe two possible sightings.

It’s now eight days since the 25-year-old was last seen by his father in Paisley, Scotland.

His family in Scotland and Donegal are extremely concerned for his well-being.

It was his birthday last Thursday and there has been no word from him.

Last night friends put up posters around Paisley and Glasgow in the hope of jogging someone’s memory.

His sister Cathie praised the generosity of local people.

She said there had been two possible sightings which police are investigating.

“There are two alleged (or reported) sightings of Barry – one coming from someone on Facebook and the other from a younger group of boys who think they saw him at a football match. The Police are going to look into it and let us know. I’m really hopeful,” she said.

The poster has also been widely circulated across the internet by the wider Scottish and Irish communities in Britain and Ireland.
