8km Club Walk/Run – The Naomh Ultan 8km Club Walk/Run takes place this Saturday, July 27th at 11:00am sharp. Registration will start at 10:30am at the clubhouse. Adults €10, Family €15 and Students €5. Refreshments will be served after upstairs and will be also in conjunction with the official launch of the Club’s new website. It will be on show so why not come down and check it out. All are welcome to take part in the walk/run.
Clothes Bank – A reminder to all in the parish there is clothes bank just outside the grounds of the clubhouse and it can be used anytime. All proceeds made goes back to the club so please try your best to support.
Adult Football – The senior side had a devastating defeat in their Junior A Championship quarter final playoff losing by a single point to Milford in Killygordan last Saturday. Final score was 1-6 to 0-8. The reserve team had a good win however in their first leg Championship encounter with Glenfin, final score was 1-9 to 0-4.
Underage Football – Congratulations to our Under 12 team who have now qualified for the final of the Southern Division 2 League Final after a hard fought win over Naomh Columba on Friday evening in Dunkineely. After last Monday’s disappointing loss to Kilcar, their only loss this season, the boys and girls picked themselves up and worked well as a unit. Dermot Alvey and Colm Shovlin’s team has a great mix of youth and experience, many of the experienced having played a part in our Under 14’s County Final success. The final will now be against Kilcar on Monday July 29th in Kilcar. Throw in time yet to be confirmed.
