At least six cars have been involved in a multiple car crash near Newtowncunningham.
The accident happened just after 3pm this afternoon at the junction coming out onto the main Letterkenny to Derry Road.
At least two ambulances and two Garda patrol cars rushed to the scene.
Eye witnesses said there was damage to a number of cars and it appeared that cars rammed into the back of eachother.
However, it is not believed that any of the casualties are seriously hurt.
