UNLUCKY HARPS ROBBED OF POINT IN ATHLONE

written by John2 August 2, 2013

finn harps logoFINN HARPS players returned to Donegal tonight wondering what they need to do to get points on the road.

Harps had played magnificently away at leaders Athlone, but were denied a deserved share of the spoils when Enda Curran pounced in the 79th minute with a goal to take all three points.

The Ballybofey side had played extremely well up to that point and had their own chances on the night.

Peter Hutton will be disappointed at the result – but not at the effort put in by the Harps players who surely deserved more on the night.
