Breaking NewsKillybegs Coast Guard teams have been involved in the rescue of a yacht.

Crews were tasked at 9:23pm last night by Malin Head Coastguard to a yacht which had broken free from its mooring at Mullaghmore.

The vessel was blown away due to the high winds and large sweels and was later washed up on Murvagh beach.

The 16-ft yacht was undamaged and no-one was injured.

The owner of the vessel, who is from the North, hopes to be able to refloat it at high tide on Saturday.
