THIS is the weekend to get involved in rugby!
Tir Chonaill RFC is holding a rugby training session in Pobailscoil Gaoth Dobhair at 7pm on Friday evening.
Anyone from the ages of 15 up to senior level (any age) are asked to come along and get to know the game better and maybe participate later. More information is available from Jason Greene on 086 2743401 or Eddie Sharkey on 087 2531838.
Meanwhile there is a “try rugby” day on this Saturday at the Dragons Den, home of Finn Valley RFC in Stranorlar.
Children from 6 to 12 years of age are asked to come along from 1pm till 3pm to meet the coaches and try their hand at rugby. Boys and girls are welcome accompanied by their parents who can talk to the coaches about the club and what we do.
Then from 5 till pm 7pm the club invites ladies from 12 years of age upwards to see the work been done to develop Ladies rugby in the club.
