THE stars of Donegal’s future showed the way forward by winning the Buncrana Cup.
The U-16s took on Tyrone in the showpiece game this afternoon, and won by a comfortable 12 point margin.
Donegal had led from the start and had gone in at half-time five points ahead. The final score was Donegal 3-06, Tyrone 0-03 with Gaoth Dobhair’s Michael Carroll rattling the next in the final minutes to complete the victory.
Donegal had beaten Derry in the semi-final on a scoreline of 3-05 to 0-05.
