A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of 13 different ‘fill and split’ incidents at petrol stations during a 24 hour period.

The 19 year old is being quizzed at Letterkenny Garda station.

The man was finally apprehended at a petrol station in Letterkenny after different raids in Buncrana, Muff and Milford over the weekend.

The man filled up his car before driving off without paying for the fuel.

It is understood he was captured on CCTV at petrol stations on a number of different occasions during the theft spree.

The man, who cannot be named, is believed to be from Donegal and is being held on suspicion of theft.
