Patsy Gallagher continued a recent run of form to capture the Franklin cup last Sunday, with an impressive 43 stableford pts, followed closely in second place by Denis Friel.
Standard scratch on the day was 41pts.
Another big day in the club calender is coming up this Saturday, when lady captain Mary Hassan hosts her big day for the ladies, and also a nine hole competition for the gents at 5.30, followed by the traditional barbecue.
The presentation of the prizes on the night usually turns out to be a fun filled occasion, and I’m sure Mary’s night will be another one to remember.
