DONEGAL’S U-17s are the 2013 Jim McGuigan Cup Champions.

They defeated Tyrone in the final in Maghera, Co Derry, today by 2-10 to 1-06.

It was a great second half by the team after Donegal had gone in at half-time trailing the Red Hand county by two points – 0-03 to 0-05.

But goals from Gillespie and Diver saw Donegal march into a lead they never lost.

Earlier the U-17s had defeated Monaghan in the semi-final 3-20 to 0-01.
