Hard luck to the Minor boys and ladies Footballers on losing their county finals on Sunday. The ladies were always up against it taking on neighbours Termon who were reigning county champions.

This is a young side and they will have learned an enormous amount from the game. The Boys went all the way to extra time but couldn’t get over the line and will be disappointed after beating Buncrana well in the Northern Final just 3 weeks ago. Thanks to all that travelled to support the teams.

Congratulations to both Termon and Buncrana.

The Seniors travelled to Glenties and came away with a draw against N. Conaill and remain top of the div. League table.

The Juniors took on neighbours Glenswilly in the League and got another good win on a score of 1-13 to 1-07.

The Minor Hurlers defeated Carndonagh on Thursday to reach the B Championship Final. The final will be played in Burt on Sunday the 15th September.

The 16 Hurlers play Burt in the A League Final on Thursday in Burt at 6pm.

The U16 Div. 1 footballers have advanced to their Northern League Final and ay have to wait for play-off winners. They have drawn neighbours Glenswilly in the championship.

Well done to all the underage hurlers that played in the county U13, U14 and U16 teams in the National Blitzes last Saturday.
