The St. Eunan’s U15 Óg Sport Gael team that won the County Final at the weekend, defeating Ardara in the Final in Davy Brennan Memorial Park, Glenties by 3-09 to 3-05. They will now represent Donegal at Saturday’s Ulster finals in Glen, Derry.

Hard luck to the Minor boys and ladies Footballers on losing their county finals on Sunday. The ladies were always up against it taking on neighbours Termon who were reigning county champions.

This is a young side and they will have learned an enormous amount from the game. The Boys went all the way to extra time but couldn’t get over the line and will be disappointed after beating Buncrana well in the Northern Final just 3 weeks ago. Thanks to all that travelled to support the teams.

Congratulations to both Termon and Buncrana.

The Seniors travelled to Glenties and came away with a draw against N. Conaill and remain top of the div. League table.

The Juniors took on neighbours Glenswilly in the League and got another good win on a score of 1-13 to 1-07.

The Minor Hurlers defeated Carndonagh on Thursday to reach the B Championship Final. The final will be played in Burt on Sunday the 15th September.

The 16 Hurlers play Burt in the A League Final on Thursday in Burt at 6pm.

The U16 Div. 1 footballers have advanced to their Northern League Final and ay have to wait for play-off winners. They have drawn neighbours Glenswilly in the championship.

The U15 Boys captured the County Óg Sport title in Glenties on Saturday after defeating Ardara in the Final. They travel to Glen in Derry for the Ulster finals this Saturday, Sept. 7th.

The U13 Boys staged a great second half fight back in Buncrana to win their opening match and they are at home to MacCumhaills this Sunday, throw-in at 11:30am. The div. 2 team had a good win against Gaoth Dobhair and travel to Fanad this Sunday.

The U14 girls will take on N. Mhuire in their county semi-final this Thursday (5th) in Dunfanaghy at 6:30pm.Bus leaving Tobin’s at 5pm. All players must be at Tobin’s garage at 4.45pm. All support welcome.

The U12 girls travelled to Convoy for Go Games and performed very well in all their matches. They have two more blitzes to play.

The U12 Hurlers play away to Aodh Ruadh this Thursday.

Well done to all the underage hurlers that played in the county U13, U14 and U16 teams in the National Blitzes last Saturday.

This week’s lotto numbers are: 11-12-16-20. 5 winners matched 3 numbers and win €20 each. Barry Tinney; Stephanie Crampsie, Derryveagh Ave; Aisling Breen, New Mills (all Adrian); Kieran Tobin, Orchard Grove and Cormac Hartnett, Dungloe (both card). Next week’s jackpot is €3,625.
