Motorists in Letterkenny are being asked to be vigilant for a new traffic system in the town today.

A new set of traffic lights will come into action outside the entrance to the LYIT on the town’s Port Road at 10am.

The traffic lights are part of an overall system which has come into action to cater for the additional of a new car park opposite the campus.

Parking has always been a problem for students and staff at LYIT but the new car park should help with this traffic congestion.
