DD EXCLUSIVE: THEY helped bring us tears of a joy a year ago.

But today there can only be tears of sadness as Rory Gallagher and Maxi Curran step down from the Donegal county management team.

The affable Fermanagh man worked as Jim McGuinness’s No2 on the road to 2012 All-Ireland glory.

But work and family commitments have forced both Rory and Maxi to stand aside for the assault on Sam in 2014.

Thanks guys!
