Henry McGarveyFORMER PRAMERICA boss Henry McGarvey has taken on a new challenge – helping in the continued regeneration of Derry City.

The Donegal man has accepted a position on the Board of ILEX, the company delivering new ideas to the Maiden City.

Derry is currently the City of Culture and has had a hugely successful year with a series of events including the Fleadh.

The events have had a massive financial spin-off for Donegal with millions of extra euro pouring in from tourists combining visits to Derry with holidays here.

Mr McGarvey has taken an active role in a number of positions and sits on the board of LYIT.

His position – along with three others – were approved last night by joint northern first ministers Martin McGuinness and Peter Robinson.
