Glenree girls are headed to the All-Ireland blitz

GLENREE U12 GIRLS HEADING FOR ALL IRELAND BID

McGinn football grounds in Buncrana was the setting on Saturday last for the next round of U12 girls blitz.

Glenree utd along with Swilly Rovers, Kilmacrennan, Moville, Greencastle and Buncrana arrived in high spirits on a beautiful sunny day to compete for a pathway to the next level, all Ireland finals in Dublin.

After obtaining the Donegal title a number of weeks earlier Glenree utd were eager to go the distance and some five games later and superb showing of football skills from all teams Glenree U12 girls secured their place in this year’s blitz final in Dublin in three weeks time.

 

Good luck to all the team that will be travelling to Dublin.

 

Many thanks to all who travelled to McGinn park on the day to support the teams. It is your support and encouragement that keeps the dream alive!

 

A big word of thanks goes to our coach Cathal for all his hard work and dedication for this team. Thanks Cathal!
