The summer season of golf was finally wrapped up in the last two weeks when Sean Sweeney just about grabbed the title of Golfer of the Year, and Denis Friel eventually got the better of Patsy Gallagher in the matchplay final in fitting Mediterranean conditions last Saturday at Otway.
Congratulations to both winners, and to all participants for making the season a fun-filled success.
With the season definitely changed this week, it’s time to start thinking about ‘how many days to Christmas’, and take part in the weekly Sunday turkey scrambles starting this Sunday at 1pm, with names in to the clubhouse at 9158319 before 12.45. Yes, that’s ‘all’ names in by 12.45 !
