GAA NEWS: KILLYBEGS PIP BRAVE MALIN TO TAKE PLACE IN COUNTY FINAL

killybegs gaa crestKILLYBEGS will face Glenswilly in this year’s RnaG county senior final.

The fishermen won by the narrowest of margins at MacCumhaill Park, seeing off the brave challenge by 0-11 to 1-07.

Killybegs threw their shocking league form to one side to win the game – having performed poorly this year, failing to win in any of their last 12 league matches.

But they pulled off the semi-final win – despite being down to 14 men for half the match after Enda Murphy was shown a straight red for a nasty challenge on Malin’s Damian Harkin.

Now for the final – and a clash with Glenswilly, champions from 2011.
