Some of the Elite Dance Crew

The Elite Dance Crew from Buncrana are on their way home from the All Ireland HipHop Championships in Trabolgan with a haul of All-Ireland titles!

This is the group’s first year at the competition and the dancers have achieved an amazing 21 All Ireland titles.

Accord to Claire McGlinchey of Elite, these dancers have worked for months weeks and days in the run up to the competition practicing every minute they got.

“We left at 3am Friday morning and danced Friday, Saturday and Sunday.image

“I cannot describe how proud I am of each and everyone of my dancers. They put there hearts and soul on the dance floor and it paid off my amazing dancers that competed this weekend rang in age from 5 to 16.

“They competed in Crews, Solos, Doubles & Trios, with each one of our dancers have coming home with an All Ireland title & Trophy.

Our youngest dancer Ross Doherty took 1st Place in the Under 6’s Champion solo section, I also had my sister Leanne helping me every step of the way and 8 amazing Hip-Hop mammies who I don’t know what I would do without,

The group arrived in Buncrana at 12.30 to greet all their family and friends this time Elite are very proud to be returning as Buncrana’s All Ireland dance champs.
